Dunfermline Strathspey and Reel Society
DS&RS is a group of fifty or so music loving folks who play together every thursday from August to June. We meet in the Dell Farquharson Centre from 7:00 to 9:15pm. The musicians are mostly fiddlers playing predominantly traditional music but they are joined by others on double bass, keyboard, cello, mandolin, guitar, whistles and of course, accordion.

Twice a year we play a Fiddlers' Rally - one in Lochgelly Centre , in September and one in the Rothes Halls in January when we are joined by musicians from all over Scotland, usually with a Guest Artiste. We also play a selection of charity concerts in and around Dunfermline.
